6 months goes so fast!

It is hard to see my development when it is so spread out

so here is a little recap of these first six, glorious months!

This is me, seconds after I was removed from the womb.

Just think, that was 12 lbs ago!

I think I am about 2 weeks old in this picture.

What a beauty.

This was taken around 6 weeks, with my super
awesome Christmas stocking from Aunt Kathy.

Here is a shot of me in January. This bear sweatshirt doesn't fit anymore!

This is February, right before we left for Bellingham.

In March I could still fit in this bear sweatshirt, but alas no longer.

And finally, here is an April shot, taken a couple days ago.

I'm getting so big, or at least I hear that constantly!

Next post will be coming live from Moab, Utah!

Mom and dad are taking me to Vegas for my 6 month birthday!

They are really going to have to do something special for my 1 year celebration.

GRRRR!

These pictures basically speak for themselves.

Lots of bears this time of year in Sitka.

Cedro y Phoebë. Gggrrrr!

More like Winnie-the-Pooh than a scary grizzly.

BABIES!

Well another week gone by means some more piles of cuteness.

Due to the literal baby explosion in our metropolis of 8,467 people,

estimated at 120 births between June 2010 and June 2011,

I have the frequent opportunity of getting together with babies!

Let's start with yours truly.

Here I am girls.

(I think this was a yearbook quote by my late grandpa Tim).

This is the snow queen, Phoebë, and me.

I've been seduced by the power of rock n' roll!

On to the baby party.
You've seen this gang before in some other baby line-ups.
Me, Jolie and Cooper.

I might be securing my 2028 prom date...

And here is the madness:
Ring o' baby!

Our mothers "cleverly" put us in order by birth.
I'm the oldest, but not the biggest, and the youngest is 2 weeks old, to my left.
Bo, in the blue suit a couple babies down, is 3 pounds more than me!

Next week: babies in bear suits

(we all have one it turns out, and actually I have 3)
and babies in diapers. When will the madness end?
Stay tuned.

APRIL 19TH

Another lovely week in Sitka.

The sunshine is still out and we have been doing all sorts of things.

I went to mom's volleyball game and then

she took me to a play so dad could sleep.

About 20 minutes into the play dad came and got me.

It was too boooring for me.

Here I am, happy to be home again.

We had dinner at Stephen and Beth's house.

This is their daughter Kat and me playing before dinner.

The eagles have been out and about.
This one sat here for 2 hours and mom tried
to get a picture with both of us, but it didn't really work out.
Can you see the eagle?

Here are my burgeoning muscles.

Mom was trying to be "arty".

I don't want to tell her that I don't really get it.

This weeks video highlights include me trying to crawl,

me going backwards in my new (garage sale) walker,

and my very first food: rice cereal.

Bring the spring!

I had a pretty fantastic first week of April.

Mom turned 32, and I turned 5 months, as you know.

The sun was out and I went for a hike with my mom and

dad up to Heart and Thimbleberry Lakes.

I went on another hike with my mom, Auntie Chloë, Carrie and my friends Phoebë and Ryker. Oh and the best dog in Sitka, Peso!

I tried a big carrot too. It was ok. Mostly I liked to drop it.

And I read some books.

I have the distinct luxury of falling asleep pretty much wherever I am, clearly demonstrated in the following pictures.

I went to the National Honor Society induction on Monday with my mom and so many people held me I was a little over stimulated. I had to come home and go right to sleep, in the tub.

And I got to participate in my favorite activity: bouncing!

Get ready for another bouncing mania video!
