Summer time!

It was 63 degrees here, kids were swimming
in the ocean, people were out in droves,
and we went out on the boat!

First, a couple other photos.
Mom got something to entertain me
for our flight to Guatemala next week.
The headphones are too big, but
they fit ok when I wear dad's hat.

We went to the park to play too.

And today we went on the boat!
It was awesome.

Snow, rain sun: May 19th.

It has been a wacky weather weekend in Alaska.
The sun is shining right now, but we've had
hail, rain and maybe a little snow.

Mom got us out there anyway.  Rosie was in the
pack almost the whole time so there are only a few
pics of her here and there.

Phoebë and I fished in all the water on our
walk up the street.

Rosie escaped outside, in the rain, to eat some
dirt and rocks.

Today we went to Starrigavan and
walked up the muskeg trail with our friends
Lily, Logan and Emery.

I didn't even ask to ride in the wagon,
I walked the whole trail!

I fell in a puddle, then had some diaper
issues so mom took off my pants
and I asked to be "nakey" for the
rest of the hike.  And let me tell you,
it was rather pleasant.

I had to put my boots on when
we got to the rocks, but I smiled the whole way.

Happy mother's day!

How did 3 weeks go by so fast?  They just did.
We have had some nice weather and been doing the usual:
playgrounds, deck, walks, eating, diapers, etc.

I took a nap with Rosie's new doll.

Phoebë Snow came over to play a bunch of times!

Mom upgraded from the bowls to the pool.

Our friends Teagan and Lila came from an even more
remote spot than Sitka for a visit!

Rosie had a bath in the kitchen sink.

For mother's day we walked a whole 1.5 miles.
I did the whole hike!  It was fun!
It started off with a bear warning.

There were lots of steps to climb.

I did a lot of investigating the elements.

I had to take off my sweatshirt because I was sweating!

Rosie got the shaft on the photos because
mom carried her the whole way.

At the end I climbed a victory tree - I did it!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF
THE AWESOME MOMS OUT THERE.
