Happy Birthday Rosie!!

The early summer continues. 

We sat in bowls of warm water on the deck

and even though it was only 50 degrees,

it was splendid indeed.

 

 

 

 

 

Then we spent some time together in the kitchen,

also fun to continue the nakey-ness.

I got a yellow balloon, but it got in the way of my digging

so I gave it to my sister.  She is easier to spot with a balloon mom said.

 

 

This is the other birthday girl, our pal Lily.  She's 2.

Sun in Sitka!

Everyone who lives in Alaska knows that

April is basically summer.

 

I was doing some light reading before we hit the playground.

 

 

After my own heart, Rosie is a climber too.

 

I rode bikes with Ever and Fin.  

 

We even switched bikes and I wore Ever's helmet.

 

I saw mama carrying Rosie around while she was cooking

and I wanted to see if I fit too.  Turns out I do!

 

We went to the beach!

 

Then we had spaghetti!

 

Mmmmmm.

 

Mom set me up with bowls, water and ice cubes.

 

Hours of entertainment!

 

This weekend is Rosie's first birthday.

She gets 3 parties!  1 on Saturday with mom's lady friends,

1 on Sunday with our friend Lily (it's her 2nd birthday too!) and LOTS of kids,

and 1 on Monday with mom, dad, Uncle Justin, Stephen, Beth, and Kat.

Cupcake weekend!!
