Feliz navidad 2013!

Merrrrrry Christmas!
We had a great celebration.  Dad got a new phone that takes much better
pictures than mom's phone.  Look at that cute girl!

Potty training 2013 score - Cedar 3, parents 1.

Christmas clothes from Groovy Grandma!
We went to Uncle Justin's house for a really nice dinner.

The day after Christmas all my friends came over to play.
Left to right:  Lily, Logan, Ever, Phoebë Snow, Emery, Cedar, and Rosie.
Rosie only ate a little diaper rash cream.  No knives were used.

Party girl!

We all played outside together.

Swings!  This girl loves a good underdog.

And look at that, a crayon fits right in there.

Cedar took a picture of himself.

 Christmas morning loot:
Cedar got a new race track, 4 rescue bots, a nerf gun,
a mickey mouse bath robe, and a car that makes lots of noise.

Rosie got an elmo bath robe, some girl legos,
a new baby and a stroller, all a big hit.

See you in 2014!

December!

After a lovely Thanksgiving, made entirely by Mema, December rolled in.
We put up our traditional, non-traditional, Christmas tree
We have been doing the usual: preschool, outside activities,
every Sunday we do family swim, licking things,
hiding with the toothpaste behind the couch,
and both of us chatting up a storm!
Rosie might have as many words as I do.  There are far too many to count.

One anecdote and on to the pictures.

Reminiscent of Uncle Gabe to Mema and dad,
when mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas
I told her that I wanted my own house.  A big big big big big big house.
Mom and dad can visit.  I want to live with Phoebë Snow and Kat.
Phoebë will clean, Kat will cook and I will fix things with my tools.
I will also work at the bank where the money is.  Mom can come to my
house and read me stories at night.  Mema will live at her house.
And Rosie can live with me if she wants to. (He's 3!)

Pumpkin pie!  Yumm!

New Christmas jammies!

Dinner at Logan and Lily's house!

Bo's 3rd birthday party.

The 3 3-year-olds (Cooper, Cedar, Bo)

I have been helping a lot with the cooking.

And one more Rosie, she didn't get a lot of pictures this round...

Dad has 3 days of finals, mom has 8 days of school left,
and Mema is leaving on a jet plane in 2 more days!

3 years old!

Rosie and I navigated the kindle, checking out all the animal sounds.

Super awesome bulldozer cake that Mema made me!!

Another view of the amazingness.

Rainbow fruit skewers mom made for the birthday party.
This is all part of dad's campaign for "straight rainbows".

The loot I brought home from the party, though I suspect
that my mom hid half the presents because they were
not "age appropriate".  I really wanted to play with the
markers someone gave me where you blow
into them and paint sprays out!!

Post birthday we bundled up and went for a walk with
Ever, Logan and Lily.  Lily cried the whole walk,
but I was impressed with her dedication.
Here is Rosie, always precariously on the edge.

I'm looking good in my new Seahawks coat groovy grandma sent me!

First day of preschool.  I was super excited!
Mom tried to talk me into being a surgeon or an engineer,
but who the heck knows what that means?
Fireman, to the rescue!

PS some people were confused why my preschool looks so serious in the photo,
but this is actually just a photo shoot from mom's classroom before preschool.

Here is my new school, I love it.

Dad had to bribe me to go home with cookies.

Birthday video to come soon.

Birthday Eve

Let's see, things we have been up to:

Alaska day!  Here I am with my buddy Ever and Rosie waiting
for the parade in our primary colored rain suits.
Sitka is the only city in Alaska that celebrates
the purchase from Russia, and we got candy.

Mom sent the rain suit company this photo, but
hasn't heard anything back.

Then we went to check out my new school!
That's right, I am going to be 3 tomorrow
and with that comes new adventures like
preschool 2 days a week starting on Monday!

Mom's friend Ian came to visit us from Anchorage.

Then we went to a "pumpkin patch" Sitka style.
I got a tree painted on my face.

Here is the "pumpkin patch" that we went to.

More Ian.

We went to the beach with Uncle Justin.
I found a crab under a rock.

And today we dressed up in our Halloween costumes.

Mema and I are twins!

I was a little grumpy until I heard there
was going to be candy from strangers involved
if I wore a costume in the rain.
Who knows who invented this holiday,
but clearly it is brilliant.

Let's get sugared!

This is my friend Ema from Ecuador.
She was Dorothy.

Coming soon:  the adventures of my birthday party.
But first, a little recap of some of our action.
For some reason between 1:54 and 2:17 is just black
so prepare to fast forward.
