We opened all our presents yesterday because dad is

working all day today.

 

While Rosie took a nap, mom and I went to the beach.

Of course, I threw some rocks and played in the water.

We had to leave when I was soaked.

 

I started out wearing my mittens, but

they make rock throwing very difficult.

 

I got a new train table and some construction trucks.

Oh, and an elf apron.

 

Then we got ready for dinner at Kat's house.

 

We had a nice time at Kat's house, really yummy dinner!

Then we went to another party and I ran around and terrorized things.

Rosie was passed around and charmed everyone.

Finally we came home and went to sleep. 

I decided to sleep with all my toys.

 

Rosie got her music table back from our friend Pheobë

and she is so happy, she claps!

 

I hope everyone has a merry Christmas!

Action

Mom is on vacation!  YAY!

She is going to take some videos and post them,

there is probably not going to be a lot of special action,

but a genuine glimpse into our daily activities.


On Sunday mornings we go to the high school gym
 and here is a little footage of the crew.
We play so nicely together, that's why it is "nice play group".
We were really missing Lily and Logan today.

8:30 PM and I'm not even tired.

 

Christmas Card Previews

The cards are in the mail, but here are a couple shots

of the photo shoot.  It didn't go as planned.  Of course.

 

I'm telling Rosie a secret.

 

We really look like tough kids in this one.

Don't mess with us!

 

I wanted to get down!  And not in a James Brown kind of way,

like literally off the couch.  Mean ol' mom made me stay.

After a snack and some jammies I was back to smiling.

Rosie, however, was toast.  Jammies=thumb=night night.

 

We had some dinner before the shoot.

I have mostly transitioned to the table, adios high chair!  It has its merits,

but it is also annoying to the 'rents because I am not a captive eater.

They thought it was better when I couldn't move as freely.

Mmmmm, pureed squash and mango, or something. 

SNOW!

The snow is here and I have been playing!

We got our Christmas tree up and we are having fun!

 

 

I built a mini-practice snowman.

Today we are going to build a real snowman.

 

Rosie has a new trick...wait for it...

 

Mom had to park at the top of the hill

and she brought us home on the sled!

 

Naked!  I peed in the big potty!  Well mostly...

 

 This fat guy in the red suit was freaking me out.

Rosie didn't seem to mind though.

 

Rosie is standing!  She pulled herself up!

 

I like to be near the tree.

 

Bath time!  I help Rosie play in the bathtub.
