Fall is here! Get your boots on!

It is almost fall, which we barely see here in Alaska.
Rosie got into her bear suit for some quick hibernating.

We went for a hike in the woods.  I walked up these stairs with my dad!

Then we climbed on some rocks and guess what we found?

A sea star!

Mom made me some pizza, and I promptly picked the cheese off,
ate it and threw the rest on the floor.  Being almost 2 is freeing.

And cue the Rosie shots.  She was really cute and drooley.

We were going to see dad and mom asked me to get ready.
So I put my boots on.  I was ready!

Can I wear my blanket and boots today?

I needed to do a little gardening before we left.

Who wants to come and visit us?
Alaska Airlines is having their fall sale,
it is only $350 to fly round trip up here!
The sale lasts through October, but you can
buy tickets for the whole year!

Sept.

Another week down!  Grandma is here
(well she was here and now she'll be back in
a few days) and we are just doing what we do.
I am officially sleeping in a big boy bed
in my own room.  I have more and more words
every day and I can identify lots of things.

Rosie is almost 5 months, 15 lbs and smiling like usual.
She also rolls over and chats to us.
I think she might be my biggest fan because
she loves to watch me spin around and I
can make her laugh!

I discovered markers!

Trevor and Travis came to visit us!

This was for Aunt Mindy's birthday!

We went hiking with Phoebe and Chloe
to Thimbleberry Lake.  We walked the whole way!

It started to rain and I forgot my hat so I borrowed Phoebes!

The professional shots...

Yesterday this blog told mom that she couldn't post anymore
photos, but today it let her do it?  Standby because we
might have to get a new blog!

Until then though, here are some of the tortuous photos
mom and dad made us do this summer.  None
of them turned out very well and it was painful
for everyone.  Let my mom know if you would like
a hard copy of any.  There are many.

I don't really look like this, do I?

This one of Rosie is pretty cute.  That checks out.

But this is a more accurate portrayal of how it went.

I was doing this annoying thing where I wouldn't
close my mouth.  There are several pictures with me
and my mouth open.  Totally worth it!  Ha ha!

Ok seriously!?  Do I look like this?
"I didn't leave the stove on..." (that's a quote for dad)

Mom couldn't even believe when the super
cheesy photographer lady typed this on the bottom
of an already super cheesy photo.

Well this one is ok.  This is right before I pushed
Rosie onto the floor, but it looks nice here!

And end photo shoot.

Starbucks in their natural habitat.

 Cedar and Rosie, hanging out.

Sister fell over so I helped her up.

 A little brotherly love.

Oh hello.

Dad built me a work bench.

Rosie and my giraffy.

Check out my awesome workbench!

Nap time!

Let's go hiking, it's sunny for at least 20 minutes!

Amy J, babysitter of the year!

Popsicles!

There is not anything cuter than a little
baby bum!

Except this.
