Sister is growing!

When my sister was born she weighed 6 lbs 4 ounces.
Then she lost some weight, like we all do, and was a
tiny little 5 lbs 10 ounces.  Today we took her to the
hospital to check her weight and her bilibrubin and
she already gained 1/2 a pound and now weighs 6 lbs 5 ounces!
Go sister go!
(like the title of my new favorite book: Go Dog Go!)

We got some sun, it helps with the jaundice.

My friend Phoebe came over and we played in the livingroom.

Dad and I can still do our balancing act!

My new sister!

Mom and dad have been gone for days!
When I finally got to see them, there was
my new baby sister, Rosie.
Her proper name is Rosalie Rae Starbuck.
Here is grandma and Rosie.

One of mom's friends made a bunch of hats for
my baby sister.  Here is the owl hat.  More hats to come
as her head grows into them.  My head is clearly
too big for any of them!

Here is dada and Rosie.  She is pretty cute.

It seems like a lot of pink is going to enter my life.
Here's our whole family after mom had Rosie.
Mom is a little puffy after 5 liters of fluid.

I am still a happy little guy!

Here we are with grandma.

So with mom and dad gone I spent a lot of time with
grandma playing and with my friend Phoebe.
Here are some of the things we did.

More information coming soon!
It is going to be fun times ahead!

April photos make happy uncles.

Here are some pictures of my recent happenings.
The first set is me practicing "gentle" with a baby.
I had to taste the fingers a little.

I will be a great big brother. Here I am covering up the baby.

And now I am going to rock the baby to sleep

because it is tired.

Grandma got me some new pajamas, size 2 (as in 2 years old!)
I am looking quite handsome in them!
Who loves me so much?
Grandma!
I love her too!
Sometimes I get confused because I know mom has a baby
in her tummy and I think I might have one too.

Other times I am just clearly identifying my bellybutton.
We went to the beach last weekend to watch the herring boats
and play in the rocks.
It felt good to be in the sunshine.
That's a herring boat coming back into town.
Kat and her family came over for dinner and
we read a lot of books together.

Phoebë and Chloe came over on their cross country skies
to play the other day too!
I was waiting for them in the sun with my blocks.
We had snacks at my table.

I was just doing a little light reading in the sunshine.
This is a pattern, right?
Get the vitamin D while you can!
And more reading on the floor.

Sometimes I help with the cooking.
In the morning I like to check on my pals and have a milk.
More pictures coming soon!
I can feel something is in the air, about to happen,
but I'm just not sure what.
