The Hewitts visit!

 We had 2.5 whole days of really nice weather. 
Rosita got to hang out in just a onesie and we went to

the beach with a bunch of my friends.

 Mom underestimated my love of the ocean

and swimming so I went semi-naked until

dad could bring me some proper swimming attire.

Rosie slept in the Ergo the whole time we were at the beach!

 I got a little public sun on my bum. 

 Then dad showed up with my shorts.

 And finally the Hewitts arrived with my good

buddy Carson.  We had a great time together! 

 I showed Carson how to eat Cherrios without using any hands!

And we went back to the beach, properly attired this time.

First we threw some rocks in a little pool. 

 Then I did some rock climbing in my boots.

 Finally we headed over to the ocean.

 We had to test the waters with our shoes and clothes on.

 But then off they went and we splashed and fell and played

and were as happy as anyone could be.

In fact, I made my mom come in and get me

when it was time to leave.  She was cold!

 One night dad swaddled Rosie and Gavin wanted to

see if it was possible to swaddle an adult.

 Turns out dad is a master-swaddler and he can swaddle anyone!

She got to go out with our parents!

 Mom and dad celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary

while we stayed home with a babysitter. 

It was a really fun visit and we were sad to see them go!

Next visitor is G-ma on July 5th.  And then we are

headed to Washington on July 19th!  YAY!

2 months old!

My sister Rosie is 2 months old today!

She just started smiling and boy is she adorable!

 This is what the house looks like after a day of

me playing with everything.

In the morning the magical house elves have put it

all back together so that I can do this all over again!

We had nice weather again today so we went back

to my favorite sunny spot:  the beach!

Then we came home and I played on the deck before

before bed.  Bye Bye!

Happy Father's Day!

Mom made us do a photo shoot for father's day so she

could make dad a present.  We are pretty cute.

Rain rain go away

Another rainy day in Sitka.  Rosalie took a nap on her mat.

And then another nap with dad.

I read a book.  Not a lot of excitement in the rain!

Then the sky cleared up and we went to the park!

Weeeee! is what I yell on the slide.

Beach day!

It was a crazy 65 degrees yesterday and

mom and dad took us to the beach,

for my 2nd ever sunny beach day!

I even got in the ocean a little.

Sister got some sun on her legs and rolls.

 And I ate a little sand, but I also had a

nectarine and a juice box.  I just

learned how to use a straw!

 Mom and dad had to hose me off after the beach

because I had sand everywhere.  Seriously.

And a tribute to my wonderful grandpa Rob who

 passed away yesterday.  We love you Rob!
